that scene is so powerful, when he relaizes he could save more Jews with greater sacrifice - historically accurate?

Yes, it is historically accurate that Schindler was presented with a ring by the Jews. The ring was engraved with the following inscription;

"He who saves a single soul , saves the world entire"
