Did Kunta Kinte know about this slavery happening and how it might come to juffer?

Did the American's know that nigeria had very strong men  or where they just to scared to go there because they thougt that they would get killed for being there

Yes he was aware of slavery. Throughout his childhood, Kunta was taught fear and run from “toubob,” or white men who capture African people for evil doings. I think this practice came to Kunta's villiage as it came to many parts of Africa.
