What event may or may not happen onstage in front of the audience ? If you were the director , how would you stage the end of act two ?

The whole plague/monk incident could happen off-stage. Also the wedding ceremony between Romeo and Juliet could have been off-stage. I would never pretend to have a better ending to act 2 that Mr. Shakespeare. The play is, in part, so famous because it flows together so well.
