How are Romeo and Juliet's family alike, and why might this be important?

"Two households, both alike in dignity."

This might be important because though the families are similar in their wealth and status, as well as the fact that they have similar priniciples.... neither family is willing to put an end to the feud that divides them and causes chaos in their city.
