Compare the plague in ​Romeo and Juliet​ to the plague we are currently in.

I'm thinking the Plague in Romeo and Juliet was the famous Black Plague that killed a third of Europe. Our current situation is nothing like the Black Plague in terms of severity. We also know how to treat it.We have modern science on our side. The Black Plague was not understood and killed most all that got it. Medicine during this time was ineffective or worse than the sickness.
