Romeo and Juliet

Act2: Prologue (chorus)

Compare the two times Romeo has fallen for a girl. What qualities do the romances (not the girls themselves) share?

Romeo has a penchant for falling hard for girls. Romeo is really in love with the idea of the girl rather than the actual girl. In both cases Romeo is obsessed with his own fantasy about the girl. Really, the only difference between Rosaline and Juliet is that one is unrequited and the other, Juliet, is requited.
