What is Benvolio's lie (specific line) and why did he lie?

The only small lie that I can come up with is that Romeo ran immediately from the site of Tybalt's death. Benvolio urged Romeo to run.

And, as he fell, did Romeo turn and fly. This is the truth, or let Benvolio die.
