Why doesn't Mrs Logan punish the kids for going to the Wallace store and did she take them to mr berry

Mr. Morrison never tells Mrs. Logan that her kids were at the wallace store. Yes, mother does take her children to see Mr. Berry. She wanted them to see the dangers that black people can face.

Mrs Logan doesn’t punish them as they don’t know why they aren’t allowed there and they only went there because they wanted to make sure Stacey was ok. She takes them to see Mr Berry as she needs them to know what the Wallaces have done and why they shouldn’t go to the shop. Also, because she wants them to see the dangers that Black people face and why they shouldn’t get into trouble.
