The Logan children must walk to school, whereas, the white children have their own school bus. Books at the white children's school are new and up to date. The books at the Logan's school are old, worn out hand me downs. Another difference between the two would be location. The white children attend a modern school, whereas, the Logans attend school with 320 other students in four weather-beaten wooden houses on stilts of brick.
