In Act 2 scene 2 we hear from Richard's mother. What does she have to say about Richard? Why does she feel this way? with whom are her true loyalties

Ah, that deceit should steal such gentle shape, And with a virtuous visor hide deep vice. He is my son, ay, and therein my shame, Yet from my dugs he drew not this deceit. Richard's mother calls him a liar with wicked intentions. She says he is disingenuous and shameful....... she's also careful to cite that he didn't get his deceitfulness from her. She also gives him her blessing, which leads us to believe that she supports him for no other reason than he's her son.
