Bradbury vies man's dependence on technology in a negative way. He believes that technology spoils man to the point of robbing his very identity and purpose. The parents in the Veldt let the comforts of their technological house spoil their kids. They become isolated from their own kids because the house becomes a caregiver of sorts that does everything they ask.
