How has Eliza finally earned the respect of Higgins?

Eliza earns Higgin's respect by standing up for herself and turning the tables. He hasn't lost all control of their situation or relationship, but Eliza no longer allows him to have complete control due to the inner changes in her own character. Higgin's experiment created an individual rather than a puppet.
