Pride and Prejudice

While there are some ideal men in the world of Austen, many are flawed. Discuss some of the flawed men from this novel.

In reality, we really don't see the "ideal"man in this novel. Darcy is prideful and prejudiced; Wickham is wicked, untrustworthy, and dishonest. Mr. Bennet is complacent.... uninterested; Mr. Collins is obnoxious and proud. On the whole, the only man I personally find endearing is Mr. Gardiner. He's honest, forthright, respectful and well-mannered.
