Lady Catherine demands that Elizabeth stop seeing Mr. Darcy. She says that Darcy and Miss De Bourgh were intended for each other since birth. She adds that this union will not be ruined by "a young woman of inferior birth, of no importance in the world, and wholly unallied to the family." Elizabeth refuses to say she will reject a proposal from Mr. Darcy.

Lady Catherine demands Elizabeth to not marry Mr.Darcy.But Elizbeth do not cares of her demand and leaves.
