In Pride and Prejudice, who is Mrs. Bennet's favorite daughter and why?

I read this many years ago but I'm pretty certain Lydia was mother's favourite. Both were spoiled and prone to excess. Lydia supported her mother's indulgent lifestyle. Mother frequently defended Lydia saying that she has a "mild manner" about her.
