After believing Wickham's lies about his relationship to Mr. Darcy, Elizabeth finally finds out what a rat Wickham actually is . Being unmarried and over twenty-five, Charlotte is on a one way trip to "Spinsterville." Unlike Elizabeth, she is likes to take the first man that comes along, even if it is Mr. Collins. Elizabeth finds this insulting to women but I think that Elizabeth is enough of a realist to understand Chaelotte's point of view.
