Please type the name of the story you're working on in the box below so I can go back and answer these questions for you...... you haven't provided enough information.

@jill d the story is the tell tale heart by edgar allan poe

this quote might help show the narrator has a loose grip on reality;

"he can hear all things in the heaven and in the earth [and] many things in hell" Page 1

you also have to remember that the narrator's main concern is convincing us he's not insane...... that in itself makes you question.

@jill d, my topic sentence was that the narrator is insane, but I can't find any quotes that prove he is insane, now i got the evidence , what would be the analysis of my topic sentence?

my topic sentence: the narrator is insane.

@jill d , and why the quote you gave me shows the conflict and theme ?

conflict definition: A serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one

theme definition: The subject of a talk, a piece of writing, a person's thoughts, or an exhibition

@jill d , thanks for giving me a evidence , my evidence was the quote that you gave me (:

@jill d what would be an another quote that shows he is insane?

i need help
