In this section, the author focuses on the recruitment of young people into ISIS, and Persepolis almost satirical view of the senseless deaths, all in the name of a better life. It also deals with Persepolis' family's need to hide in the basement during the bombings, as the border towns started taking the main hits of the attacks.
