Paradise Lost

What feelings does Satan feign when Eve tells him she and Adam have been forbidden to eat of the tree? What arguments does he use to persuade Eve she should eat the fruit? Which of his arguments do you think have greatest power over Eve?

Satan feigns disbelief and tells her that he has eaten from the tree and is still alive.... thus God must not have told them the truth. He told her that God didn't want them to eat from the tree because he knews it would make them equal to a god. The result of all of these together is that the temptation to eat of the perfect fruit becomes to hard and she grabs an apple and eats it (I guess plucks a piece of fruit might be more appropriate).
