Outliers Questions

Malcolm Gladwell is interested in what makes some people more successful than others. Overall, how would you describe his thesis, or central premise? Do you agree or disagree with his ideas? How is this view different from the way you have thought about and understood success in the past?

There are a lot of questions here for this short forum. I think that, overall, Gladwell's debunks many of the myths around failure and success. In the end he points out what many people are aware of already. Suceess is a mix of drive, luck, heritage, timing and money. These are hardly new traits but Gladwell packages them into an interesting narrative.
