Question about Grace Balegamire from outcast united

Hello all. I have a question regarding outcast united, written by Warren St. John.

I am pretty sure he is under 13 because he belongs to U13 soccer team led by Luma.

One boy whose name is Grace Balegamire, the oldest son of Paula Balegamire joined a Fugee in this book,

How old is he specifically? What is his English level? I know he came to the U.S. at the age of 5 and he speaks Swahili but unsure for me.

Grace Balegamire is a Congolese player on the Under Thirteens Fugees. I don't recall we are updated with Grace's age through the narrative.
