Chapter 9 & 10

When Melody was eight, her world changed. Her mother became pregnant. Melody can remember her parents talking about the possibility that the baby would have a disability like Melody and how much this frightened them. However, when Penny was born, she was perfect. Taking care of two children who required so much care was hard on Melody's mother, but they managed alright.
