did Iago ever loved his wife

I'm going to say that Iago never really loved anybody including his wife. In the context of actual love, Iago is a pretty flat character: Iago is evil. Any signs of affection were likely part of his manipulations of people. Don't forget that Iago actually stabbed his wife near the end of the play.
