Describe the positions on all sides concerning Sesdemona' elopement.

Desdemona's father Brabantio doesn't like it. He thinks Othello has used some sort of witchcraft to lure his daughter away. Desdemona is committed to Othello. She loves him unconditionally. Othello worships Desdemona at this point. Iago uses the elopement to cause trouble for Othello. The Duke, while sympathizing with Brabantio, needs Othello for his armies and is reluctant to condemn it.
