Othello

ACT V Scene 2

Lines 130-139 are Desdemona’s final lines. Often in Shakespeare’s plays, a dying character has a few more lines before they actually die. What is the significance of Desdemona’s final lines?

Desdemona's final lines pronounce her innocence, put Othello on the spot, and cause him to lie once more. Othello, even now, refuses to admit that he was wrong.
