What is the dramatic irony of Othello’s utterance (90-92)? Explain.

The irony can be found in the fact that Othello will not so much hate Desdemona.... but that he will destroy her, and in turn, will destroy himself.

Excellent wretch! Perdition catch my soul But I do love thee! And when I love thee not Chaos is come again.

Othello
