why is moving the panel referred to as "moving mountains"? what is the allusion here?

McMurphy is wants to break out. It's more of an exhibition or show than anything else. The panels are too heavy hence the comparison to "moving mountains" I believe the allusion is to the Bible where faith can move mountains.
