Why does Mr. Bumble go to the Sowerberry's? What does he find there?

He needs to have the deceased taken care of and wants to speak with Sowerberry. When he gets there, he finds that Sowerberry and his wife have gone out, and he finds Claypole and the maid feasting on Sowerberry's best food and drink.
