what are the diffenceces between the charaters in the movie and the charaters in the book

I really liked the 1992 version of the movie. It is one of the few movies that does justice to a classic book. I thought that as director Gary Sinise got all the main characters exactly right including his own (George). Honestly I can't think of any real differences.
