how does Lennie show respect throughout the novel
Lennie shows respect by doing exactly what George tells him to. He is also fiercely protective of George. When Crooks suggests to Lennie that George might not return from town, Lennie interprets this as an attack on George,
"Ain't nobody goin' to talk no hurt to George," he grumbled.
