Of Mice and Men
Is this novel based on a true story?
Just wondering... I've read this book many times. It is good but breaks my heart every time I read the ending.

The novel is based on Steinbeck's own experiences as a bindlestiff (migrant worker) in the 1920s. As far as I know the characters and most events are fictional.
