Lennie is insecure about everything... he's childlike.

Curley is insecure about his manhood- a contributing factor would be that his wife is always surrounded by other men on the ranch.

Candy is insecure about his purpose and ability- this has been caused by an injury and age

Curley's wife is insecure about her marriage- Curley ignores his wife and her needs contributing to her insecurity.

Crooks is insecure because he is different.
