Norm
A war veteran and native Anglo-Australian man Norm encounters a Pakistani student Ahmed on a lonely street, in the middle of the night. Norm asks for a lighter and starts a conversation with him. Norm behaves friendly, but he keeps on looking down on Ahmed's reluctant behavior angers Norm. He offers him a parting handshake and all of a sudden, he throws a punch in Ahmed's gut and smashes his head against the post, he leaves Ahmed's limp body on the road, muttering a racist comment.
Ahmed
Ahmed is a Pakistani college student who studies in Australia, when Norm stops him asking for a lighter and starts a conversation with him, Ahmed talks to him politely. Ahmed isn't a racist and, he calmly responds to Norm's racist comments. Ahmed tries to end the conversation by saying that he likes Australian people because they're very hospitable to him, but unfortunately, Ahmed falls prey to a xenophobic.
