ecumenical

Being universal in scope or application.

tedious

Boring, dull, monotonous and seemingly endless.

hobgoblin

A figurative term liberally applicable to anything that induces fear or apprehension.

guerrillas

Soldiers in a paramilitary force working outside the environs of officially military jurisdiction, usually dedicated to a specific political cause rather than a party or nation.

counter-culture

Any incipient social movement with a clear trajectory of increased saturation into the mainsteam that embraces principles, beliefs, actions or an ideology in opposition to the mainstream.

wanton

Recklessly unconcerned with the inevitability of future negative consequences.

demented

A term commonly applied in an insulting manner by one party to describe actions, thoughts or behavior by another that they consider so inexplicable as to clearly be the work of a mentally unbalanced mind.

curmudgeon

A gruff, cantankerous older person who stubbornly sticks to traditional ways and vocally criticizes almost all progressive means.

transient

Temporary; leading a vagabond existence.

repulsive

Abhorrent to all sense of decency.

menopausal

Referring to the behavioral changes and mood fluctuations experienced by women during menopause.

prophet

A person believed to possess extraodinary insight into the course of future events.

consortium

An association of independent entities working together for a specific shared purpose or goal.

unmitigated

Pure and uncorrupted; unqualified and undiluted in intensity.
