who was old ,tambu and nhamo

The narrator, Tambudzai, Tambu for short, is the narrator of the story.

Nhamo is Tambu's brother, who dies in 1968. His death is the condition upon which Tambu is able to receive an education, since he was meant to be educated in her place.

nhamo is the eldest,while tambu is younger.
