1) Bigger isn't sure what door to approach for his meeting with Mr. Dalton. Should he go to the front or back?

2) Dalton immediately senses that Peggy (the white maid) looks down on him, even though she is also a servant in the home.

3) Lastly, Bigger is completely intimidated by the oppulence of his surroundings, and is overwhelmed by a sense of insecurity.
