In your opinion, who's hurt more by the system of slavery - Douglass or the Auld family? Explain.

I would think Douglass is hurt more simply because he is the slave. The Auldt family is not on the losing end of the slave master relationship. It is Douglas who must suffer the indignities of slavery.
