I'm not sure about the number 1 part. Mr. M is alone onstage. He tells the audience about trying to get to school the next morning. Every road was blocked by policemen, there were overturned buses, looted vehicles and buildings, and people everywhere shouting. He stopped on a corner and saw a child from Standard Six writing a political message on a wall. The child asked him earnestly about his spelling. A police van drove by full of schoolchildren yelling to him to tell their parents where they are. Mr. M tried to close his eyes to make everything go away, but he had to open his eyes when stones and tear gas bombs started to fall around him.
