How is it that Hero fails Claudio’s test?

Hero is set up to fail any answer that she gives Claudio because he has already decided on her guilt (his evidence is only rumor!) . Friar Frances asks the usual question if anybody objects to the wedding. Then Claudio becomes a drama queen asking Hero and then others if there might be a problem. Poor Hero does not no what to say.
