Don John is trying to start a rumor that Hero has been cheating on Claudio. Don John will tell Don Pedro that he’s discovered Hero is actually in love with Borachio. Margaret, Borachio's mistress, will  stand in Hero’s window and they will fool everyone into thinking that Hero is cheating on Claudio.
