Much Ado About Nothing

Are there any examples of "corrosion of character and/or moral values" in Much Ado About Nothing in any characters? If so, what are a few examples?

Claudio falls in love with Hero and allows Don Pedro to woo her for him. He later incorrectly believes that Hero has committed infidelity and calls her a whore in the church where they are about to get married. WE wonder where Claudio's values are that he accepts rumour for fact and treats his beloved this way.
