Mandisa portrayal of mxolisi as a child

Mxolisi began his life as a sweet child, but after he witnessed the police murder his friends, Zazi and Mzamo, he stopped speaking for several years. He eventually regained his speech. Mandisa decided to send him to school but he was beaten regularly by teachers. This turned him off education.
