What is the difference between Moll flanders and Juliet in Shakespeare.

Juliet is a naive teenager who sees Romantic love as the only ingredient to happiness. Moll Flanders is conscience that "love" is part of a plan that leads to other goals in life like social hierarchy and financial security. Moll understands that the idea of romantic love can be a means to a number of ends. Unlike Juliet, Moll does not come from money and marries for it. She, however, does show loyalty and genuine affection in exchange for financial security.
