Grampa and Hiram discuss how Grampa and Harlan's relationship deteriorated many years ago. Hiram thinks this is happening to him with his father as well, but he wants to change things and make them better. Grampa agrees that he should at least try to find some common ground to begin talking again. With this advice, Hiram states that he wishes that he has the same relationship with his dad that he does with Grampa.
