Why did Misha rip up and tore it to shreds when he saw a copy of the book Hansel and Gretel? And when Vivian had to pay for it. What does he have against that book?

In the conclusion of Hansel and Gretel, the witch is burned in the oven. Consider the Holocaust and the way in which millions of Jews were slaughtered..... that is the reason Misha destroys it.... for him, it isn't merely a fairy-tale.... it is a symbol of the Holocaust.
