Besides the fact that Uri is a kind and caring person, why else might he want to help Misha?

Uri joins the Nazis in order to escape persecution. If discovered, their fates would be the same. Thus, although Uri must keep his disguise and affiliations intact and secret, he cannot avoid helping Misha..... it's simply who he is.
