Hamlet's middle name is indecisive. He has trouble deciding if he is angry, depressed, mournful...Does he believe in ghosts or doesn't he? Was that his father's ghost or the devil in disguise? The play goes on like this with Hamlet endlessly debating the merits of everything from suicide to homicide to the meaning of life. Hamlet finally does get things in order but unfortunately it's too late for him to debate anything further.
