    What is the conflict between Oberon and Titania?

    The conflict has two main parts: first, that the two are jealous, each thinking that the other has taken other lovers and felt attractions to still others, including Hippolyta and Theseus respectively, and second, that Titania has under her protection a changeling child whom Oberon thinks he could take better care of by training him to fight. Students should consider if one part of the conflict is more "honest" than another or if the two genuinely feel equally pressing to Oberon and Titania. They should use textual evidence to support their positions.
