This is only a short answer space. I can make a general comment.Miss Honey is Matilda’s school teacher and the first person to appreciate and foster Matilda’s extraordinary intelligence. She attempts to bring Matilda’s gift to the attention to Miss Trunchbull and Matilda’s parents, but is coldly rebuffed. Miss Honey is a shy, sweet woman and is beloved by all of her students, especially Matilda. Miss Honey acts as a motherly figure as well as a confidant to the young girl. I think both Ms. Honey and Matilda see kindred spirits in each other.

Contrast : Miss Honey is an adult while Matilda is a child. Miss Honey is poor while Matilda is rich. Miss Honey lives in cottage on the other hand Matilda lives in a house. Miss Honey is shy but Matilda is confident. Compare:both work in the same school. Both have same situations and similar issues. Both are genius
