Why pandavas went to heaven instead of salvation

In mahabharat lord krishna speaks GEETA to arjun and in GEETA lord krishna tells that our last destiny should be salvation

Which is better than inderlok(swarg) and arjun was one of first man who listened GEETA

And as lord krishna tells him you should try to get salvation from this world if you will wish about heaven you will get that if you worship INDRA you will get him.

But remember none of them are immortal

As we can imagine arjune arjun defenetly owenered lord krishna and definetly followed him then why did arjun and pandvas went to hwaven(swarg) instead of salvated as mentioned in MAHABHARAT
